Television and Home Theater

Hello All,

I bought this set used a few days ago for 350.00 bucks,the picture seems to be very clear but has a red overlap or tint to it?

I cleaned the projection bulbs (red/green/blue) and the screen on the back side of the TV...they were very dusty I had hope's this would fix the problem but it did'nt work.

I also tried adjusting the color and this did'nt work......when I pull the menu screen up the red really stands out and everything is ablur.

Called a few tv shops and they all say 500.00 to 650.00 to fix?

The DVD player would not open on our sylvania tv/dvd/vcr combo so we took apart the tv to try and fix it.  We fixed the DVD problem, but after reconnecting the wires, we now get sound, but no picture.  We don't know anything about the insides of tv's, but if you could tell us what wires to check or any advice as to why this may be happening, it would help.

hi i hope some one can help. when i switch the tv on sometimes it only has half the screen showing the other half if black. anyone got any ideas??
