AKAI Rear Projection PT5598HD

This is my first post. I purchased a AKAI Rear Projection 55" Big Screen TV model PT5598HD at an auction.  My problem is that it was "AS IS" and what I recieved as an "AS IS" was a good remote and a nice big screen.  I have called everywhere and no one seems to work on it in my community.

I turn it on and the red timer button  flashes about 10 times and then shuts off.  There is no sound or picture. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how expensive or where someone can order parts?

LG Plasma - no picture displaying when pc connected

I have an HP Pavilion s7525a desktop pc that I trying to connect to my LG Plasma (42PX5D-AB).

The operating manual for the LG advises that the resolution of the pc should be set to 1024 x 768 60Hz, but when I do that, no picture is displayed.  The only resolution that displays on the plasma is 640 x 480.  Any other resolution results in a blank screen.

How can I overcome this?

The video card in the HP is an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series.

Can I hook two tvs up to one cable box?

Media Center and Media Player wont display on TV

Hi,

I recently purchased the HP Pavilion entertainment PC laptop... I have connected it to my TV using a VGA cable, and all the programs display beautifully except Windows Media Player 11, and windows Media Center. It just reverts it back to the laptop screen and then I cant get back to the TV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh
