Television and Home Theater

Hi,

I have a phillips 60 inch and a large box appears after watching tv.......perhaps a half an hour after turning it on.  The only way to get it off is to shut the tv off.  I have been reading the other suggestions, however I do not have the original phillips remote that came with it and can not bring up the menu items on the television.   I purchased  a universal phillips remote and still can not access the cc features, etc.

I've got a Sony KP-53HS30 rear projection big screen tv and I accidentally messed things up and desperately need some help!  :eek:

I went into the service menu in an attempt to adjust the overscanning because subtitles were getting cut off, and not knowing exactly which settings were for overscanning, I just went through then all and tried each one, and if it wasn't what I was looking for, I simply set it back to the original setting.

HI!  Thanks for taking time to consider my problem.  I have a zenith pv4041h projection tv (4o ish inch).  One night when I was watching a movie, the picture started to get hazy and then I finished the movie and turned it off.  Went to turn it on again, I have sound but no picture.  I took out the power supply and had a friend of mine who can sotter on boards replace two fried capacitors (?) and then put it back in and still have the same problem.  Any ideas?  I am not a genious in this area, so forgive me for stupid questions.
