Television and Home Theater

Hi, I hope someone can help me please, I would really really appreciate it. I have a Sony Trinitron 20" KV-20FS100 that won't turn on and is stuck in stand by and blinking 4 times continually. The tv is only 7 yrs old. I tried unplugging it for 24 hrs and still nothing. I think it may need a new lamp or something, I don't know. I really need to try and fix it as I can't afford a new tv right now. thanks in advace----Lisa

I saw this original thread and was wondering if anyone has had any luck fixing their television.  The original one was closed out to any new posts and i am now having the same problem ( a red blue and yellow line at top of tv and the picture looks as if you are seeing it in 3-D) with my tv and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it...
