Technical Problem

Hi Everyone

I've got a JVC 56" tv which is just over a year old but am having problems which no one seems to know how to sort out.

The tv just turns itself off at random times and we don't know why.  Has anyone ever had this problem before or know what it could be?

Thanks

36" Panasonic won't power up after a power surge knocked it out

We experienced a power surge this morning and we had just turned our television on when it was knocked off with the surge.  Since then it won't come back on.  I haven't seen a reset button on the outside of the set, does this set have a reset button or have I lost my television for good.

Need advice on Sony TV

I need someone's advice on my Sony TV.  It is a model # KP-65XBR10W, manufactured in 2000.  The TV was turned on while I was in another room, I heard a wierd noise from the speakers and came into the room to find my TV turned off and would not turn back on.  I unplugged it and waited about 10-15 minutes and plugged it back in.  It makes the sound to turn on and then back off right away.  The Standby light flashes 6 times.  I checked the fuses w/ a DVOM, however I have only seen 2 fuses and am not sure if there are any other fuses somewhere.  A TV repai

Projection Tv Color Problem

I have a samsung HCN653W. Manu in 2003. Red lines apear across the screen, fade in then fade out completly. It's out of warrenty. Not sure if it is a IC chip problem or not. It is across all input sources. I know i can solder the chips myself or take the board to my 2M lab if that is the case. I do know know what chip set is. Could this possibly be RF interference? If so, what lines would need a emi filter? If anyone has a clue please let me know.
