Television and Home Theater

My TV just started to lose its convergence so I converged it. I had to do this twice in about a 10 min timeframe. It then went completely black.

When i turn on my projector, within about thirty minutes it turns reddish, does anyone know what would causing this tinting?

I have a sony XBR V Trinitron 36 inch TV.

Recently when watching a channel eg. 33 another cahnnel namely 4 appears as a disturbance. The audio is still that of channel 33. This happens when I switch to other cahnnels, eg 8, 11 etc.

The TV is about 4 yrs old. The other 2 Sony TVs in the house has not yet displayed any such problem.,

Is the TV in need of repair?
