Television and Home Theater

Hey guys, as the title suggests, i've got a Mitsubishi WS-48613 with the blinking green light but no startup issue that seems to be common with the model. The fixes i've seen have been to check the 4 capacitors on the DM board (1000uF, 16v) for doming and replace them if they seem to be blown.

I took out the DM module (which was no treat), and the caps weren't domed up, but one or two tested bad for continuity, and it's a five buck fix for a huge HDTV, so i figured i'd start there.

A friend of mine recently gave me a Thomson/RCA D34W20 34" TruFlat HD-Ready TV he was having trouble with. He couldn't get it to turn on anymore.  Problem seems to be room temperature related.  If the room was cool the tv wouldn't turn on.  During the winter he put a space heater near it and it would reliably turn on and off.   Finally this summer it just stopped turning on.  Rather than taking it in to have it looked at he was just going to junk it.

Hey all. I've been on this site before to fix a tv i use to have and this was a very helpful place. Well i'm back with another tv of course its a sony i bought from someone who was goin to throw this away and it has the same problem as the one i repaired before so i wanted to tackle this one too. Just had a few questions regarding my issue if one of the techs could help me out. I took the D board out of this tv and went through and check the fuses and all were good also checked the two on the G board and those 2 were good.
