I just experienced the green blinking light of death for the third time in the 9 years I have owned it. The wife went out and brought home a 55"flat screen and said swap them out! So I have removed all the electronics (except the light gun assy) and am offering them up to those that might need/want them. Let me know. This offer is good for one week, then they are trash.

back in jan my tv's screen went black,no menu or picture but it powered on.repair guy fixed it for $400.it lasted till august.now the tv displays 3d images.i guess it needs convergence chip replacement? i just ordered stk 392 110.do u guys think i should cancel the order and get something else? i done a little reading and found out there's convergence chips that run cooler?

My WS55813 had a problem resetting the picture and volumne repeatedly. So I shut it off, unpluggedit, took off the back and vaccumned it out hoping it was heat build up from poor maintenance. Put it back together, plugged it in tv didn't turn on frompanel or remote, pushed the rest green light blinked as usual and was able to turn on tv but still reset picture and volumne, turned it off now tv wont turn back on but the light still blinks when you push the reset. What might be the issue?
