Television and Home Theater

When i push the power button  , i hear a tick , like a relay and after the light flash 9 times and there is no sound , no picture. Just a black screen. Any suggestions? Thanks

WS65869 mfg 10/2001  (problem has existed prior to blinking light problem reported in other thread)

The left to right alignment on 720p and 480p is 1-2" to the left. (1080i for HDTV is fine)
As in if there is a news graphic on the screen the left 1-2" is off the left side of the screen.

Previous service tech did an alignment (the screen with the graph)  but wasn't able to move the image to the right.
Old fashioned monitors have the l/r u/d adjustments but I couldn't find it for this unit.

any thoughts?

The other day we were watching tv and my 2yr old daughter was bouncing a super ball and it hit the front console of the tv causing the tv to go blank. No sound and no pwr light. I unplugged it for a while, checked the main fuse, and looked at he boards for component damages. Everything checked out. I held the pwr button down and reset for a few minutes as well. The green pwr light did not blink or come on after plugging in the tv and of course no picture or sound either.  I do here a high pitch each time I plug it in.
