Television and Home Theater

I bought this WD-73C8 TV from Costco in late 2008, not a lot of use. This morning I turned it on and got rough audio but no picture. Lamp light is not blinking. I tryed the 'System Reset' button, no dice. Now after unplugging and restarting, it turns itself off after 30 seconds or so and only audio. I have seen other posters about different Mitsu models with the "blinking green light" any thoughts?

Hi all, I'm new here and have found this site amazingly helpful!! I have a convergence issue with my tv and decided to tackle the repair myself. At least, the disassembly and reassembly, the soldering I'm leaving to my brother. (he builds computer motherboards) Anyway, I can't seem to track down the service manual. I don't want to mess things up by not having the proper schematics. Well, mess things up any worse, hahaha. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. I was watching TV last week and my 56" samsung DLP just shut off and then started cycling power on and off continuously until I unplugged it.  Tried plugging it back in and same thing, on,off,on,off, etc.  I checked the lamp door switch and it seems fine, I held it down and then up with my finger and it still does the same thing both ways.  The power button feels the same way it always has so I don't think it is sticking, and I tried replacing the bulb and no luck.  PLEASE HELP!  It's been a week and all I have is my laptop for entertainment.
