Television and Home Theater

WD 62528 service manual says,  The TV must be in “Shut Down” and not have been switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational check. So if the tv flashes green for 70 seconds then goes off yet still doesnt power on ..................how do I check for codes

Replaced 4 bad caps on Dm module.  OSD works fine but no video inputs are working.  When I select DTV or try to use the memory card ports the screen scrambles.  Im thinking its the doubler but any other ideas would be helpful.

I just bought a Magnavox 42MF230A/37 Plasma TV. I got it used at a very good deal because there is a black vertical line.

Reading about black lines on plasmas on the internet it seem to be an easy fix soldering the ic on a ribbon.

Taking apart the TV and getting to the ribbon it does not seam to have places to solder like videos on you tube.

I have some pictures I have attached. Any help with fixing the TV would greatly be appreciated.
