I have a sony kp65ws500 rear projection Tv. it shows a perfect picture when turned on but after 10 minutes it fades to a orange red color. it still has sound but a red led standby light flashes 5 times. I've read other post of members having similar problems. anyone with the answer please help.
i have a flashing picture but no flashing lights. almost like the type of flashing you get from watching macrovision encoded movies. but thats not the problem. tv has about 30 hours on it since i paid 3 grand for it in 2003. want to fix to sell. ill bet it will wind up needing a crt or 3.
