I just bought a Magnavox 42MF230A/37 Plasma TV. I got it used at a very good deal because there is a black vertical line.
Reading about black lines on plasmas on the internet it seem to be an easy fix soldering the ic on a ribbon.
Taking apart the TV and getting to the ribbon it does not seam to have places to solder like videos on you tube.
I have some pictures I have attached. Any help with fixing the TV would greatly be appreciated.
Have you had any luck with this repair?

have the same exact problem but on other side ,replaced logic buffer and still there, can you tell me what to do next,Thank you in advance ,John
Shane, brought it to two different repair shops, both had come to conclusion the display went bad. Put it out for the trash.
