Child proofing the power strips and the interconnects

Hey,
I have a small child fast approaching the crawling/toddling stages. I have power strips all over the place. What is a good approach to child proofing them. Those outlet plugs don't seem sufficient. Also I have a rat's nest of interconnects between the TV,DVD,DVR and the stero components. What is a good solution for those ?

Luck with AirPort Express?

I bought an Apple AirPort Express because of its capability to receive audio from iTunes on my laptop, USB print server, elegant packaging, and (relatively) low price tag given its feature set.

However, I can only get it to work if I plug it into a wired network first, and then make it go wireless. The reset button doesn't seem to make it go clean. Any experiences?

Trouble finding a universal remote that has a code for all of your devises?

After 3 trips and 2 returns at the A/V store, and hours of frustration trying fruitlessly to find one remote that could actually run all of my components, I finaaly found the answer. It took a little digging and a few questions, but the final answer came down to Manufacturer's devise codes. All universal remotes have devise codes. Some boast the largest library of codes in the world. Though this may be true, it can be deceptive. What good is the largest library when that claim is based on several duplicate codes from a given Manufacturer that can run several devices.

Recommend an Audio Distribution System

I'm looking to create a multi-room single-zone audio distribution in my home. Any suggestions on which amplifier I should take a look at?
