You ever wonder how people are buying things and getting them for a lot less than you paid? One of the way folks do this is by searching or watching "One Day Deals" It seems that these sites are popping up all over the internet right now. You probably won't find these sites by searching for the particular item you are looking for. These items come and go so fast that search engines can't find them before they are gone.
A new system is being developed by a Japanese professor where PC users can input text simply by looking at an on-screen keyboard. Professor Arai Kohei of Saga University's Faculty of Science and Engineering has developed this system.
When the you gaze at a character for one second, the system inputs the appropriate character. It does this by using a miniature camera, detecting your line of sight and then inputting the character you are looking at.
There are lots of ways nowadays to watch regular TV programs on a PC, but what provides High Definition TV?
First off, you will need a flat screen monitor on your PC that has HDTV-quality resolution. Most of the PC manufacturers offer a discount on bundled packages when you buy a new PC model with dual-core processors and with HDTV-ready flat screen monitor. You can be better off taking advantage of these package deals.
Why is it that when I play DVDs in auto mode on a Denon AVR-1907 I get sound from the speakers, but when I try and play a DVD which has DTS I get no sound from the speakers when I select the DTS mode on the reciever?
Popcorn...check. Remote control... check. DTS surround sound...check. Wait? Where the heck is the sound?!
There's no doubt DTS offers up some rather tasty audio, but getting it to work isn't quite as simple as popping in the disc and hitting play. In fact, there's three big things you need to do before DTS will work, and one important step every time you play a DTS DVD.
