Within a few days last month, two Rock Band guitar strum bars gave out. Whereas I initiated a guitar replacement via EA’s self help site, Blake (aka Sling Media CEO) took matters into his own hands. After removing about a dozen screw, he discovered a small leaf switch was no longer making contacting when strummed. He swiped one of his daughter’s animal stickers (panda), folded it a few times, and adhered it to the switch - bringing the contacts closer together. Problem solved. However, his little intimidation campaign doesn’t scare me:
