Not a problem Brian. I have been getting more and more request for this information but the posters are cross posting on the wrong model number thread. The information will be to you in just a short time. Good Luck with the repair.
Glad to see that your all over this problem. I have a WS-65713 HD set and havew had problems with the "green light" after about 2 years of ownership. First it did not like the fact that my NAD audio equipment was on the same circuit. Working on getting a UPS for the TV. As for the most receint problem, my green light just keeps blinking. I've reset the reset button numerious times and unplugged it overnight. Just keeps blinking. I've read the thread on this and believe you can help me on this. I've been soldering for years and am pretty handy. Do you have the procedure for the replacement of the caps? Can you supply the caps also?
I would like to help you out Pete but I cannot! I do not have anywhere to send them too! I need an e-mail address man. Wreackless and Todd, you will be added to the list of recipients for tonight's mailing of the repair documents. Good Luck

Larry – Thank you I received the documentation you sent. Is the service Manual for the WS televisions the same as the WD? I have the wd52825. [email protected]Thanks again - Todd
I have just aquired a 65 Mitzu TV, with the green blinking light. Would you be so kind as to send me the repair procedures & any diagrams you may have.

Larry, it appears that I'm not alone with my blinking green light. Mine only occurs occasionally and lasts for about one minute then we are able to turn on the set again. I thought I saw a mention of potential harm being done by having this condition. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Please help... I have a WS-55513 I bought in 2004. I just came home from a 4 day vacation to find the blinking green light that I can't make go away. I can't turn on the TV and don't see anything in the troubleshooting section of the manual about this "continuous" blinking light. I live in Stuttgart Germany (sans Radio Shack) and need advice. I can order parts on line if necessary. Mitsubishi has not responded to me.
Larry,When can I expect the how to fix data for my set? I checked this morning and just saw your comment. I'm new to this forum thing so please pardon my lack of “what do I do next” syndrome.Am I in a queue for the data?
I was not aware you asked for it this morning. I will send it out to you. You asked me a question and I did not see where you wanted the repair documents, They will be with you shortly. Good Luck with the repair.
I have the blinking green light problem on my WS55513. I called Mitsu and they said to contact an authorized repair shop. It seems this is a common enough problem that Mitsubishi should assist in paying for the repair. Has anyone ever called them out on this issue? What about some sort of recall. This is nuts! My TV is 1 1/2 yrs old and now I'm looking at $200-$300 in repairs.
Curt, as far as I know, there is no recall or help from the manufacturer in the paying for this repair. If the repair shop does this repair, it will certainly cost more like 800 to 1000 bucks. If you are handy and or know someone who is and can solder, I will send you the repair documents so you can save big bucks on this repair. Leave an e-mail address and I will help you with this.
Thanks for getting back to me so quick. My email is: [email protected]. Maybe I can take the board to a local shop like one of the other posters did and save some $ that way.
I am going to put the hammer to Mitsubishi and see what happens as it appears I don't have anything to lose.
I sent you the repair information. Good Luck with the repair. One very important thing to remember is after you replace the bad capacitors, make double sure that the board is seated correctly into the main board at the bottom of the DM.
After you drop the hammer on Mitsu please post your results. If they (suspect caps) would just burst, smoke or flame then perhaps Mitsu would be forced into some action by the http://www.cpsc.gov/ Consumer Product Safety Commision.
All they seem to do is swell up. Anybody have a failure resulting in flame or a safety issue?
I called them again and pushed. They told me to fax them a copy of the diagnosis, repair bill and proof of purchase. At that time they will decide if there we be any assistance. I'll let you know when I hear back. Having the TV fixed tomorrow. I was quoted $250-$400 by All Video Repair in Dublin, CA.
Thank you for the prompt reply and the documents. Having never soldered before, I'm cautious to not get in over my head... Can the capacitors cause me harm (as a friend shared with me over the weekend)? I'm further challenged by living in Stuttgart, Germany. If I order the parts and take the board into a reputable "electronics repair shop", is this something they should be familiar with and able to complete? Since my WS55513 is only 3.5 years old, I'm very interested in saving the BIG bucks. I sent an e-mail to Mitsu over the weekend and have yet to get a reply. While comforted by knowing I'm not in this alone, I'm disappointed that so many of us are encountering this pain. Since I came upon this forum with a Google search, does anyone know how widespread this problem is? Did we just get bad parts?
You are certainly NOT alone with this problem. I would have to guess that EVERY single set sold with this design is going to fail sooner or later. The longer someone waits to replace these capacitors, the more of a chance that the DM will get destroyed by the capacitors and therefore need to replace the 800.00 DM module. The DM module also cannot be purchased by the consumer. It is a special order board that can only be ordered by an Authorized Mitsubishi repair center/shop. The capacitors cannot cause you any harm as they are low voltage capacitors.
Would you say that this is a design flaw? What concerns me is that you are saying that the capacitors may actually cause the DM to fail. All this information is helping me when it comes time to confront Mitsubishi. I'll be glad to rattle the Mitsu cage when the time comes!

I am also having the same blinking green light on my WD-52825 from Mitsubishi. Can you help? My email [email protected] - Todd

Curt, it is very easy to fix yourself if you can solder
