To steal some of the thunder from Microsoft's announcement of the XBOX 360, Sony has revealed the Playstation 3 to the general public. Included in this announcement were many of the system specs.

The important ones

-3.2GHz Cell processor (like 8 little processors in one.)
-256MB XDR Main RAM (3.2Ghz)
-256MHz GDDR3 VRAM (700Mhz)
-2 Teraflops total system floating point performance
-Bluetooth Controllers
-Gigabit Ethernet built in
-High Def games x2 channels
-Built in WiFi for PSP
-Blu-Ray disc drive

Tune in to MTV at 9:30 eastern (8:30 central), and get the first look at Microsoft's next XBOX video game console. There have been lots of rumors floating around about new fetaures and specs, but this will be the first official public unveiling of the system. I can't wait! Who's with me?

Okay, so my brother comes barging into the house today announcing that Diablo III will be released in '06. I'm immediately Googling, and find almost nothing out there. It's way more rumors than anything else. I'm sure there will be a third installment of this awesome game, but the details are TBD.

So, my question... What are the big release(s) you're waiting for?

All I know is that when DII came out, I only got 4 hours of sleep that whole weekend. (See OCD track in the Sims thread. :-/ )
