no sound out of ONKYO receiver

Hello all, great site i've used in the past for t.v. repair.   Anyway I have an ONKYO TX-866 receiver which someone happen to spill a beer on and now there is no sound out of any of the speaker out-puts A or B side.  I've taken the unit appart and found a 1/8 watt 3.9k resistor that was blown so I replaced and it blew again.  I've looked through already posted answers on this site and it sounds like either a pre-amp or output transistor or IC is fried.  Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

ASAP - To repair, or not repair? Help!

Hi!

I'll state right off that I'm new to this 'community' so if I'm rehashing a previous question; my apologies in advance...

Simply put I received a Mini-bookshelf stereo that does power on but will not generate any sound. All the function buttons appear to work properly (AM/FM, CD & AUX) and the CD player loader works as it should. There are no warning lights, strange noises or mechanical errors I can detect except for the fact there is no sound.

MCS receiver series 3237

I can't put both speakers on at the same time. Both work independantly but when I select the option for both simultaneously it doesn't work. I have tried all the variables for wiring it to no avail. They worked togther a while ago - months ago but not now.

Kenwood basic m2 amp blown?

Hello all! My son got my older kenwood amp the other day and ran speaker wires wrong causing the amp to blow fuses! I replaced fuses with fast acting and they would just blow! A friend said I needed slow blow fuses because of the amound of current at start up! I tried the slow blow fuse and it didnt blow them this time! Well I have lights now but no sound! Also its not heating up like it use to! I know a little about electronics, but this has me stumped, because I open the case and there is no sign of burnt op amps or blown caps!

Yamaha amp rx-v2500

I am working on this amp and I found a damaged channel I have repaired the channel, but the amp will not come on. I believe these amp’s had a re-set  than needed triggered, does anybody know how to reset this amp, also there is a diagnostic mode I am aware of but don’t know the key sequence to active it.
