Receivers and Audio Components

I have a RCA RT2500. Has been working fine since purchased new. Turned on today, and it immediately turned off. There was a message that flashed - CK SPKR. I tried to restore factory settings, checked speaker wires, checked all component connections, all were fine. Any suggestions? The RCA and Thomson web sites were of no help. Thanks.

I connected my Denon 2802 to a new Sony DVD/VHS player. The first movie played with no issues, the next movie played about 3 minutes and the sound suddenly went off. The Denon still works on AM/FM but no sound on DVD/VHS - I switched from surround sound to direct to analog channels with no success. I reconnected the old DVD player with the same results - no sound. I am connected through an optical digital cable. Any suggestions?

i have a pioneer vxs-47 reciever and had a popping sound in sub when reciever would power down,had repaired under warranty,and when hooked back up, i now have a popping when switching inputs,any idea, i also have failed messege when using macc function,i,m not sure repair center if familure with this reciever,pioneer had them replace the dsp whatever board,it took over a month to repair,and i have to drive 70 miles for service,not happy,any ideas whats happening with my reciever,thanks,
