Phillip DVDR3365 Recorder

We recently purchased a phillips dvdr3365 recorder. Everything works fine except for tuning in the tv channels. When we tune in the tv channels there are these horizontal stripes across the screen. Fine tuning does nothing to these lines. However these lines are only on the channels viewed through the recorder, the channels on the tv are fine. If we run the aerial cable through the VCR and then into the recorder, the VCR channels are fine but again through the recorder the strips are still there.

I got a Emerson VCR THE OTHER DAY SINCE MY i can't get my Dvd player to work. But when you play a VHS it has this terrible buzzing sound in the background that sometimes just about overrides the sound in the movie. Since their is not any manual tracking it is (SUPPOSED) to do it itself can anyone help with this. It is very annonying and I have a feeling it may find its way into the trash can with a VERY GOOD reason not work right. Hammer Time Ha ha

Panasonic SAHT75 DVD 5.1 Suround Sound

I bought this system about 1year ago and it worked fine. Until one day it started to play and when I went to turn up the volume I quit playing audio. The player was playing. The volume knob numbers on the screen were the higher the number the lower the volume the lower the number the higher the volume. But it would go from 83 decibles and when it gets to about 50 it stops playing sound. I would hate to throw it away since I just need sound but do you think it would be cheaper to just buy another or try to have it fixed.thanks Jeremy

Panasonic VCR random audio problem

I have a Panasonic PV-S7670 VCR S-HIFI(1998). It works great and the picture is great. However, I'm having a problem with the audio recording mode. When recording a video tape, sometimes the audio portion of the broadcast does not record properly. And, when we playback the tape there will be no sound, or it will be very very faint, and then at times the sound will all of the sudden come on and be normal, and then immediately go off again.

This does not occur all the time, sometimes the audio works perfectly. Other times it does not at all.

As soon as I play a DVD in my recorder it starts to play then all of a sudden I get a blank screen. But the recorder is still going. Can anyone tell me why my DVD recorder does this? This happens everytime I try to play any DVD.

my hdd/dvd pioneer dvr530h-s is not doing anything at all.

the display shows the time

on the tv the guideplus screen appears with the selected channel on a screen-on-screen kind of display in the top left corner

if a DVD is inserted the display changes to 'load' and then a tiny play symbol appears (but not played/displayed on tv)

aside from the open/close button (on remote and the machine) the DVD doesn't respond to any buttons being pressed on neither the remote control nor the actual machine
