Video Playback / Recording Devices

My daughter who has a degree in media arts btw swears my vcr is 30+ year old.

 It's a 4 head Zenith model number 3010.  It is the first one we had that was front loading and didn't have a wired remote.  You'd think it would be easy to determine this but *I* am absolutely tv naive.  Can you help a poor old nurse here?  Oh and it still works as well as the day the hubby paid $500 or more for it.

Hi I have a Mico DVD player which was bought without a remote from Hitchens. All well and good for simple DVDs but more complex ones require a remote to navigate. Anyone any ideas how to get hold of one? I have tried a universal but found it too complex to set up!!

All of a sudden, the power on my Koss digital home video and audio entertainment system went out.  I tried moving the power cord to a plug that I knew worked and still nothing.  What could've gone wrong?  It's a KS3102 and I've only had it for a couple of years.
