Video Playback / Recording Devices

Can't record. When I turn my VCR on with the TV on, all I get on my Sharp LCD TV screen is blue, and my VCR won't record. I have satellite, and the VCR is set to channel three along with my TV.
I tried reading the Samsung Manual but it doesn't deal with this problem. The DVD will work on playback, but I can't view programs when the VCR is on. The VCR should work in tandem with the TV, but it doesn't. HELLLLP.

I just bought this RCA BD20TF10 TV-DVD Combo.
When playing a DVD, there's no way to change the quality of the color which appears dark and red. There is a display settings in the DVD menu, but you can't find the way to do it. You can do that in TV mode, but the preset won't stay when changing to DVD mode.
On the other hand, the Glossary menu describes how to do that from the Display menu, but the option is not there...
The instruction book doesn't say anything about it either...it's so strange
Any ideas?

my dvd player reads a disc but after reading it for a few minutes a signal on the panel reads no disc. How will I be able to fix the problem. I have tried to clean the discs, used several different disc, and also unplugged the dvd player from the outlet but nothing works. Could you please give me some help in resolving this problem. Thank you
