Can't record. When I turn my VCR on with the TV on, all I get on my Sharp LCD TV screen is blue, and my VCR won't record. I have satellite, and the VCR is set to channel three along with my TV.
I tried reading the Samsung Manual but it doesn't deal with this problem. The DVD will work on playback, but I can't view programs when the VCR is on. The VCR should work in tandem with the TV, but it doesn't. HELLLLP.

You need to verify that the satellite box is plugged in to the VCR. You have it set for channel three, which implies that you connected an RF cord from the sat-box to the VCR. If you used a yellow/red/white cable set, then the VCR needs to be switched to an input like LINE 1. If it's not connected to the VCR at all, then there's your problem.
