Television and Home Theater

HAVE:: PANASONIC TH-42PX50U + ATI RADEON 1300 PRO

The ATI RADEON 1300 PRO has DVI and VGA. My tv has neither.

Do I need to buy an adapter AND cable? How do I know which adapter to buy? Here are some I found, are any of these workable to my system?

I have a F36645 / CTC203CX TV that has a snowy picture and green bars about 1" to 6"s flashing. The green flashing is getting worse so theres always some on the screen and there is starting to be bright purple lines as well. Can anybody tell me where I need to begin looking for the problem? And its not from the the input signal from the sat. box or DVD player.

We've had this tv for less than a year (RCA 27in Flat Screen behemouth), not sure if we had a warranty placed on it or not (in case you ask) and the other day while watching broadcast television, the entire screen went green on all channels. Tried using the vcr, dvd and game systems also and the picture is still green.

What could have caused this and how should I go about fixing the problem?
