finally figured out my power up problem. replaced the scr (D862) controlling the startup hold for the relay. working like a champ so far. but as i always say, "so far, so what".

Philips Plasma 42PF9431D/37

Two days ago we installed our new Philips Plasma 42PF9431D/37.    We are connected to HD satellite.  While watching a program, the Philips TV menu will appear unannounced.  This happens several times during the evening with no apparent pattern.   We have unplugged the TV overnight with no success (including all other cables attached)  Any ideas how to stop this?  We have called Philips for assistance and was referred to a carry-in facility 120 miles away.

tv sensor light for on/off and volume

we have a toshiba tv, 35 in. maybe 6 years old. anyway, we also have satellite tv. the on/off and volume controls do not work on the sat. remote although we def know it is not the remote. is is possible that the sensor of the tv. little red light onthe tv. is no long able to pick up on the remote? My husband says he never heard of such a thing, but , the fact is that the remote works when it is nin sat. mode which is to aonly change channesl. you need to be in tv mode when you turn on/off and volume and that is when we have problems. any suggestions.

Hitachi 32in plasma

need help urgently. i have a Hitachi 32in plasma tv which is about 3 years old. i switched it on this morning and the lcd light is flashing orange, i havent got my manual to hand, does anyone know what it means?

pioneer SD-P5071 Problem

Hello....This unit takes about 1/2 hour give or take minutes for the video to come on.  Video has a washed out look.   Audio comes on right away.   Problem happens in all input signals.  Convergence seems ok...no double/triple visions or pincussion bowing when signal finally comes on.  Adjusted video/color settings but still not clear.  Still watchable but something is wrong.  Any insight?   Thanks.
