Television and Home Theater

Hi. We picked up a 32" Sanyo DS31550 for next to nothing. Everything is fine except on the left side there is a rainbow-colored/bullseye-shaped pattern. It extends about 4-5" in from the left and is about 12". I saw somewhere online something about a slipped Shadow Mask as a result of a drop or hard impact. I don't know the history of this set so I couldn't say. Is there any chance of life for this thing? It has been properly degaused.

Hello everyone. I just bought a Sony Wega TV and the screen is fine except for letters seem to have a ghostly shadow next to them. This is an issue not only for the cable but also when I play DVD's. At first I thought the problem was the cable hook-up, but since the DVD does the same thing, what is the problem and how can I fix it??? Thanks!

I have a citizen vcr/dvd player, a couple of years old, and the remote no longer works. Is there any way to access the unit's functions without the remote? Specifically, I'm running my gamecube through the line1 input, but can't change the input on the machine now. I've looked, but have had no luck finding a distributor to replace or fix the remote. Same dead end trying various universal remotes. Hoping I don't have to buy another vcr/dvd just because the remote is broken!
