Television and Home Theater

I have a 4-year old Samsung HDTV (4:3 ratio) that a service tech says needs a new "F-Box". I can purchase one of these at a fair price but how difficult is something like this to replace? Is it a plug and play card or item or is it much more complicated? Any help will be appreciated.

my philips magnavox model tr2502 c107 has a horizontal pictute problem like the screen is not centered its all going towards the right anybody know how i can get in the service menu or anything that will help me with the problem

I have an LCD TV. It works OK when first turned on, but after a few minutes the screen goes black, as if it's been turned off. There still sound and I can change channels. It seems that the longer its turned off the longer the picture will stay when turned on again. Is it worth the call out fee, and repair, or should i just get a new TV?
