Toshiba 52HMX84

We have a Toshiba 52" DLP projection tv purchesed in Feb, 2005.  It has worked great until the last few months.  We switched to Dish TV in Aug and the problem developed after that.  When we turn the tv on, the sound comes on but no picture.  It automatically cycles on and off and after a few tries the picture comes on.  That can't be good.  Now there are times that even after it cycles thru the on-off routine the picture still hasn't come on and then the tv turns itself off.  Could it be the lamp?  If it gets a picture eventually it would

Polaroid LCD works but recieves no signals.

I have a Polaroid FLM 3201 32" LCD. the screen clearly works, because the menu, channel # display, etc. are clear as is the initial display of the brand name when the monitor is first turned on. But regardless of which input I use the display says 'no signal'. Does this sound like something reasonably repairable or is it a lost cause. i was given the set so I may be willing to spend a fair amount on a repair. Thanks in advance. PLUR

Mitsubishi VS 45605 won't turn on

I have a Mitsubishi VS 45605 that won't turn on. The green light next to the power button, labeled TIMER, lights and immediately goes out, then blinks a couple of times and then goes out. It sounds like the TV is turning on and shutting itself off. I have tried unplugging and plugged it in again, same results. Any ideas of cause and cost of repair? It is seven years old and I had no problems with it prior to this.

Sharp TV switches inputs

I have a 32" Sharp.  While watching, the input switches on its own.  I hit the remote to restore it to input 1 and it will keep switching on its own.  Any ideas?  I have a cable box and TiVo hooked into it, however neither one should affect the input modes.  Thanks

REPAIR RIPOFF?

I had experienced some lines running down the side of my Plasma TV and called a repairman in to repair my Zenith 42 inch Plasma that was mounted on the wall.
