Television and Home Theater

I have a problem with my TV. It is chassis number 25V507-00AA. 1. It shuts down on it's own. Can be 5 minutes or 5 days that it is on. When you go to turn it on after this the Power light cycles on and off. 2. If you turn it off you can turn it back on if you do so within a few minutes otherwise it does the above. 3. This is the funny part. In most cases like this you would think that it might be a heat problem, but, the only way to get it to come on is to blow a hair dryer underneath of it and into the vents at the top.

I have read many many responses to connectivity issues but have yet to come across a problem like mine.

S-Video to S-Video cable
