RCA TV 36" mod # F36705 audio turns to static. Can be cleared by unplugging TV for a while. Sometimes it will return soon and other times it may be weeks.
My husband watches a very old RCA TV where it is situated (and he won't move it) the sound from the TV speaker echos down the hall and makes it impossible for anyone else to enjoy the sound in their room.
I want to install a ceiling speaker over where he sits and disable TV speaker
the problem is he refuses to let me put a receiver in the mix because that would mean turning on and off 2 components, He wants to hit power only once on a micky mouse (kidding) remote he bought at Radio Shack and have everything come on. (he won't change remotes)Audio and TV. Is there anything like a mini receiver that connects somehow to the black and red mono connections in the back of the tv that does not need a on and off switch? All the tv has is a red and white mono connection and a video yellow and red and white and a cable connection. The tv has no cable box it is straight cable. He does not want to see any components but the TV

You need to ESR the caps in the audio amp side.
