I have a problem with my TV. It is chassis number 25V507-00AA. 1. It shuts down on it's own. Can be 5 minutes or 5 days that it is on. When you go to turn it on after this the Power light cycles on and off. 2. If you turn it off you can turn it back on if you do so within a few minutes otherwise it does the above. 3. This is the funny part. In most cases like this you would think that it might be a heat problem, but, the only way to get it to come on is to blow a hair dryer underneath of it and into the vents at the top. This works at times in a minute or 2 or can take 5 or 6. My main question is any ideas as to the cause? Thanks alot.
This certainly sounds like a bad solder connection in the horizontal sweep circuit, the sweep power supply, or the main power supply.
