Television and Home Theater

Hi, I have an older Pioneer Elite PRO118 tv.  I have recently started getting problems with the convergence.  When cold there is this green line that goes from the bottom and top of the tv horizontally.  Below that line the colors seperate a bit.  Ocasionally the whole screen seperates and I get a bowed effect at the top and bottom and the colors seperate.  When the tv fully heats up this almost never happens.

I have a Durabrand Model # BH2004D. The word "Factory" appeared at the top of my TV screen. I have tried everything from pushing tons of the buttons to unplugging the TV. How do I get this annoying word off my screen?

Hi folks, can't quite get my head round this predicament so hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. 

My area on the south coast in the UK is pretty pants as far as terrestrial TV reception goes including digital. Freeview won't be arriving anytime soon in postcode area BH15 so my main TV has a skybox and dish with a Freesat card and the portable TV in the kitchen has an FM indoor aerial and booster box to get a reasonable picture, even then ITV1 is 'snowy' at best.
