I have a 36in RCA that starting turning itself off then not coming on at all. I would unplug it wait a few min at first, then replug and wow it worked again. This went on for awhile now it won't come on at all even when I unplug and replug. I had my husband take off the back of it so I could clean it in case it was dust but it wasn't and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I was watching vcr tape and when it was finished we push the rewind button and the tv automaticly turns itself off. Everytime I turn it on it turns of just in a few seconds. How can I get this tape out.

Need help with sony lcd

I have a sony 50 inch lcd projection tv Model # kf-50we610. I am having several problems. the set was purchased in Jan. 04. About three month ago I started noticing purple spots all over the screen, this is more noticable on a lighter backround. Also the colors on the screen are not as vibrate as they use to be, almost as the screen is getting darker. this morning I went to pull the lamp bulb out and could not  because the plastic enclosure surrounding in has melted onto the lamp bulb I have a tech coming out in three days to check this out.

I have a Zenitz D52WLCD T. V. that won't come on. There is sound but no picture. Have tried replacing the lamp with 2 new ones, same results. The operating lamp flashes orange when I turn TV on. It continues to flash for approx. 1 minute and then goes to RED. The Lamp and Temp indicators never light, just the Operation Indicator. Also, when I turn TV on, approx. 30 sec later I hear a click, but still no lamp. I find it hard to believe 2 brand new lamps were shipped bad, although possible.At $227.00 a pop, need to know if there is another problem.

Hi All,

1st post so hope I get all the details correct:

 LCD TV was purchased in Nov 2005. From day 1 it was losing the channels and needed to have the autostore function carried out daily. In addition sometimes the set would turn off and not turn on again until 10-15 minutes had passed.

 In mid 2006 I was fed up with this and took the set into the JVC repair center. Their report: No problems, badly tuned.
