Dell W4201C HD Plasma no picture after cap replacement

I  replaced 2 poped caps on the main power board for a friend, this plasma TV is a Dell W4201C HD which is a rebadged Samsung model not sure which. Any how I found these 2 caps on the main power board did a search for common problems with this model and sure enough its fairly commom for these perticular caps to go out because they are underrated so I replaced them with the reccomended replacement.

Mitsubishi WD-82737 HDMI Input Switching Problems

During the last 4 months my TV will lose signal and flicker when switching between HTPC and Blu-ray player.  Not always the same hdmi port.  If I do "menu 123 reset" the tv  returns to factory defaults recognizes the inputs and starts working properly.  I have upgraded the firmware but that didn't fix it.  Seems like a bug or software issue.  I checked for service error codes and there wern't any.  Could this be a hardware or handshake problem?

Desperately need some help... Sony KP53h30

So it appears as if one of the convergence chips died on my tv. After dealing with a picture that looks half 3D and half...semi-regular I scraped together the $46 dollars for the two convergence IC's. My wife is pissed at me, due to the fact that I just wasted $46 dollars on two parts and that we can't afford to replace the one we have. Like I said... I replaced the convergence IC's (STK392-560) with new units. After turning the tv back on it has some sort of vertical pincushion. Additionally each color appears to be rotated slightly horizontally through the center of the TV.

mitsubishi ws-55517 problem - blue static

hi all

I think my hdmi port on my set went bad this morning. I was telling my brother-in-law that we have had the set for 5+ years and it has been reliable then an hour later we were seeing blue snow when playing on the 360. I have switched the cables, switched the sources, and changed the input type. All inputs work except hdmi. We were able to wiggle the hdmi input to get a good picture for about an hour then it went back to blue snow. I can sometimes get green snow as well (by snow I mean static).

WS48511 no led activity at all from power button, feels like DM issue but different.

So I finally decided to fix my old WS48511. I found all the information about the Caps going bad on the DM power module, etc. When I went to check none of the caps were bulging. I used my multimeter to test resistance and every cap increased to infinity. I know this is just a rough , rough indicator they "may" be ok but everything I've read finds people with failures with bulged caps. On a whim I decided to check the power button and it completes the circuit fine. The TV has zero response when the power button is pushed.
