Help-is my TV dead?

I have a 55" Magnavox rear projection TV.  It's only around 2 years old.  A few weeks ago, I was watching TV and it just shut off.  I would turn it on and it would stay on for a while but then it would shut off again.  Right before it would go off, the screen would go black and the sound would still be on.  Once it does shut off, the power button also blinks two times every couple seconds.  Now, I can't even get it to stay on for a few minutes.  I turn it on and the screen shows the TV station and channel flickering and then immediately

RCA 52 Inch Projection

I have a 2.5 year old RCA W52 HD projection TV, has worked flawlessly since it was purchased until last night.   Last night the TV would not go on. I unplugged for a minute and plugged back in and TV came on, but a buzzing/crackling sound could be heard. Then TV shut off.   Repeated the process and TV worked fine for the rest of the night.   This morning the same thing happened with the TV not powering on.

 Any Ideas?

RCA P52960

My rear projection tv has been intermittently shutting itself off.

But a bigger problem has developed. My tv screen is distorted like it is being streched from all four corners. I saw online someone else had this problem , but no remedy was given.

I just want to know how big of a problem this maybe, CRT tubes possibly? I am going to call a repair shop tomorrow, but just want to hear some opinions and maybe a ballpark figure to repair, so I don't get taken.

Philips 60pp935217

Hi all, I'm new here and looking for your help.

We have a Philips 60pp935217 rear projection.

We've had the unit for six years without any trouble, but unfortunatly it looks like all the lenses are not aligned and the picture is narrow in the middle of the screen.

No abuse or jarring to the unit. We do have 4 cats and a past-on dog + we smoke, so I know the lenses and mirror need cleaning, but I don't understand the larger problem of convergence.

I've tried to adjust the convergence with NO luck.

sony kp65wv600 convergence problem

Help!!  I have a 4 year old Sony KP65WV600 tv.  It developed a convergence problem (red image displaced from the others in an arc at the bottom of the screen and top left distortion) so I called out a service tech who accessed some service pages whereupon the problem disappeared.  Now, a few days later, the problem has reappeared - the tech has tried accessing the service pages again - this time with no effect and the tech has disappeared mumbling "you've got a real problem"!  Is this the famous 'IC's in the convergence board' problem?
