Sony Bravia KLV-40U100M Turns off and then back on while watching program

I have a Sony Bravia KLV-40U100M LCD Television.  After about a year, I started having a problem where the TV will just randomly shut down while I was watching a program, and then it will start back up a little bit later around 30 seconds later.  It is and always has been on a surge protector.  There doesn't seem to be a pattern where it happens aftre a certain amount of time.  Sometimes it is after 5 minutes sometime after a few hours, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.  It is getting frustrating.  Does any one have any idea why this might be happening??

I have a when sony KP-53HS10. The picture quality is duplicated by a blue shadow to the right of objects on the screen. When the unit is powered up it blinks 5 times. After diagnostics were performed it displayed 5AKB - 42.  Larry can you explain this code to me, and can it be adjusted or fixed in home by me. I just finished reading all the posts in this forum and could not find a post that referred to this problem.

Video Signal Kyboshed

I'm hoping someone can help. I have an LG CRT TV, and needed a VCR to play some old VHS tapes. For some reason, no matter how the VCR is connected (via antennae cord, AV inputs ...), the video signal is wonky (hitting pause shows an image, otherwise it's a sort of static). All the connections have been thoroughly checked so it's probably not something as simple as connecting to the video in on the VCR. I live in Australia, so the TV should be receving PAL. I tried pre-recorded and home recorded tapes, and all have the same effect.

TV won't turn on and keeps flashing 9 code.  By the forum, the G board is bad, how do you identify that  board?  The forum/Larry says the diodes d6116 and d6103 are bad how do we locate them on the board?  Also, since this fault occurred - when the TV sometimes will turn on, the left side of screen is green, center is blue, and right side is green.....what's causing that?
