Television and Home Theater

When I first turn on my TV, it scrolls.. meaning there are pararell lines dividing the picture which constantly scroll downwards along with the picture on the TV. This happens for a few minutes, but sometimes up to 10 minutes. Also, a few times I turned the TV on and this happened along with a annoying, somewhat loud, constant buzzing sound that went on for at least 30 minutes before it finally stopped. I'm not home so I don't know what brand it is, but it's not the new plasma or HDTVs. It's just the regular one from before all that stuff was around.

i truned on my tv today and there was a red line running across the screen and it looks like ther is a line red line on the top and bottom of the main red line also there is a green tint on the screen any help would be great

Im new to this forums and in need of help.  I have a samsung hcn653w and the picture quality is going bad.  the picture seems to have a double shadow effect. In other words i see double the picture.  I just downloaded the service manual and dont quite understand as far as troubleshooting.  Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.  BTW I did a search on the forums and only found about 4 threads and none of those have the double shadow problem I have.
