Television and Home Theater

The RCA projection TV will not power up. The power Light (Green LED) blinks on and off several times during a 5 second period, but the set never powers up.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

 I HAVE AN OLDER 60 MITSUBISHI 60 PROJECTION TV,  WHEN I TURN IT ON, IT STAYS ON FOR ONLY A FEW SECONDS, THEN SHUTS OFF , HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

I have a Zenith PV5263BT Rear Projection TV.  The problem is when I plug in the  s-video cable to the television.  I get a picture but it is mostly black and white with a very low color level.  If I hook up with rca cords, it displays fine.  I have tried a different cord, different satellite receiver unit, and have even unsoldered the s-video component and installed a new one.  Any ideas???
