Television and Home Theater

Larry, I have a MAGNAVOX MOD. NO 60P8241. Blinks 4 times, thinking maybe conv. chips. Set chirps 16 times, back off. Havent checked voltges on horiz.out . But hoping somebody could help on the blinking light codes, I have no schematic. Thanks, [email protected]   

  Ive had my RCA L37WD22 tv for about 8 months now, and it was working fine up until today.  

 I was watching tv and then I suddenly got the Unusable signal error. I check the connection 

  and everything seems fine so I go looking in the menus and find that on the channel list all  

 i have on there, other than the VGA, HDMI, etc are the channels that have music (there isnt  

 any music now, and Im on basic cable BTW). So I figured I would just do a channel scan and  

 hopefully that would work.

Well, at CES each year we expect someone to trump the world's largest TV stat.  This year, Panasonic unveiled an 11 foot by 6.25 foot plasma television - roughly the equivalent of nine 50" TVs in a square.  (*rolls eyes*)  Not that it isn't an impressive feat of engineering (with an impressive price tag to go with it - maybe $100k? - exact amounts weren't specified), but give me a break!  At what point does it just become ridiculous?
