Unexpected zooming of image on JVC PD 42X776

The picture on my JVC PD 42X776 is zoomed in a great deal, as if it were looking at the image through binoculars.  This isn't an issue with the aspect ratio, and I can't find any solutions.  The problem began when I unplugged the HDMI cable from my Sony Playstation to plug it into my cable box, all while the tv was on.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

my boyfriend super glued it and the soldered on it but now when he put it back in tv it just pops over and oer and doesn't come on it is a rca  model is P52937SG i would just like to buy new board thank you

I came across this tv for free from a customer of ours.    He told me he thought there was an issue with the "green resistor".   I dont know if this is true but if so, can this part still be purchased? If so where, and where is it on the tv?

 I have not opened the tv yet because i just got it.  I took a picture of the convergence screen and would like your opinions on it.   Is it worth fixing? is it a tough fix?  I need to be lead in the right direction and it looks like i can hear.
