Television and Home Theater

Please help with this repair.  I started with red bowing on top of screen.  Couldnt adjust red convergence on remote.  After downloading manual and researching on net, started investigating convergence circuit.  Found two 6.8 ohm 1W resistors burnt and open (3159,3160).  Replaced all 12 resistors with 6.8 ohm 2W and both stks.  Now convergence will adjust in all directions in all colors.  (BUT), now there are green outline shadows to the right of images.  I figured on a bad stk installation.  Bought 2 new stk392-120's and installed with same exac

Hi, newbie here.

I purchase a Akura tv around 15 months ago (knew i shouldnt have taken a cheap make but thought i would take the risk)

I have sent the tv back 4 times in the warrenty and now it has ended, and guess what the problems back.

Not sure if this is the correct place to post site wise but any help to fixing the problem would be appreciated.

I changed the lamp in my HLP5063WX/XAA and reset the timer.  Once I tried to turn the system on, it doesn't do anything....no sound, no picture....only the standby and lamp lights blink.  Has anyone ever encountered this problem?
