Akura 32" LCD

Hi, newbie here.

I purchase a Akura tv around 15 months ago (knew i shouldnt have taken a cheap make but thought i would take the risk)

I have sent the tv back 4 times in the warrenty and now it has ended, and guess what the problems back.

Not sure if this is the correct place to post site wise but any help to fixing the problem would be appreciated.

The picture completley goes and i get just coloured vertical lines all over the display. If you knock it on top it sometimes goes back to full picture, other times you have to turn it off for a good 20 mins and it should work again for a while?

Any ideas on the problem would be appreciated. Many Thanks

You bought a cheap LCD TV

You bought a cheap LCD TV along with all the ramifications of that.  It sounds like a bad panel or the ribbon connector from the panel to the controller board is defective or isn't making good contact on the panel itself.

Not much you can do about it.  Parts aren't available, nor is service info.  consider it a lesson learned in "You get what you pay for."
