Television and Home Theater

I have a prolem with my Mitsubishi WS-65711 not turning on by either the remote or by the on/off push button located on the front panel of the unit. I checked the power and it is okay. When the on button is pushed I hear a click inside the unit and the green indecator light next to the on button comes on for 2 to 3 seconds then I hear another click and the green indecator light goes out and nothing further happens.

I recently developed a problem with my WD 62725 shutting off on its own, and the timer light blinks green.  Initially when it happened, I unplugged / plugged the tv and it seemed to be fine for a couple of weeks.  Now it only stays on for a couple of minutes, then an assorment of vertical colored lines appear for a few seconds, then the tv shuts off and the timer light blinks green again.  DIAGNOSIS PLEASE???

Hi! 1st post here, ase you can tell....

 Bought a Mits WT-46809 about 5 years ago that has encountered a bow in the top and bottom of the screen. May do it when 1st turned on, and shortly go away, or, may do it after the set has been on for some time. either way, it always seems to correct itself. Set done this for about three days off and on. I have unplugged the set so as not to cause any further harm.
