Television and Home Theater

I have a Sony KP-51WS510 rear projection TV with convergence problems.  I am replacing the convergence ICs and have gotten hung-up pulling the board.  It seems that it is somehow secured in the area of the transformer (flyback).  It's not lifting or sliding, I've pulled all of the board screws (I think) and am hesitant to "muscle" it.  Any ideas on what I'm missing???

I've experienced the "convergence" issue as well, but hopefully that is behind me, along with the $600 repair bill.  The problem now is an annoyance....When the signal changes from "MONO" to "STEREO" to whatever, I get this very annoying notice on the screen that say "SIGNAL: MONO", "SIGNAL:STEREO", etc. Some channels change signals very frequently, especially ESPN. Sure would like to get rid of the notice. Anybody with a solution (other than "A big hammer"........Thanks

My Panasonic 52" rear projection tv will not turn on when I came home from work and it might have been from a blackout. The TV does not turn on at all no light red or green. I believe its just a fuse. I opened up the back of my rear projection tv to locate these fuses. I found 2 on the circut board of what seems to be the right shape and size but....the clear glass that the fuse usually is s covered in white. Now also the 1 fuse near the pwer cord attached to the circut board has a clear plastic tape around it making it tough for removal.
