SONY KP57WS500 LIGHT BLUE FLICKERING ON BLACK SCENES

I have a KP57ws500 SONY 57" television. I've had the IC chips replaced with official brand sony IC's. And a host of cold solder joints touched up. Along with some of the fuses on the power supply to take care of all the convergence issues. About 9 months later I noticed that I get a lot of constant flickering on all scenes, but most notable on dark black scenes the screen flickers a whitish/blue very erratically. I also have a KP57HW40 that does the exact same thing only its a whitish/green on black scenes. Could the only fix for this be replacing the crt's?

My blinking light/green light/red light/timer problem is on a Mitsubishi WD62628 almost exactly three years old. Have replaced light twice and niether went more than 3000 hours. Now the thing simply doesn't turn on without a half hour of random on-off-reset- wait rituals. Same symptoms as countless others on this site. Any directions, ideas or help on how to get this fixed before my wife leaves me for the TV repairmanCry would be greatly appreciated.

Mitsubishi VS60601 Picture problems

Mod # VS60601, Picture has a bow up on the bottom, Bow down on the top,( kinda like an hour glass turned on its side). This happened during an electrical storm.

 The convergence is way off, but I figure if I get the bow out maybe the convergence will be ok. Or will the convergence chips cause the pic to bow. I looked at it in the cust home, and did not get very far, Hard to work on the floor. Can someone point me in the right direction . Maybe a voltage thats missing or something

Can a KP-57HW40 part be used in a KP57WS500 ?

I have a local guy throwing away a KP-57HW40 with a broken contrast screen.

 

I have the KP57WS500 which the red and green guns have been on the fritz a bit lately, and its one of those momentary things that makes troubleshooting hard. Was wondering if it would be worth it or not to go get this guys KP-57HW40 to hold on to it for parts, I figure at least some of the stuff has to be partable out of it, like the high voltage adjustment block on front and maybe the guns?
