Mitsubishi WS-65613 in need of Help

Hello,

Panasonic PT-47WX49 has distortion when turned on.

My buddy has a Panasonic PT-47WX49 that has a series of lines and distortion on the screen when it is first started up.  It started out as being just for the first couple of minutes, but it is continually getting worse.  It now takes about 15 minutes for the lines to disappear and the picture to look normal.  Searches on Google indicate that there may be some "dry" capacitors.  Does anyone have any information on this?  (which board, which capacitors, etc?)  (Or what else it might be?)  It doesn't look like a "typical convergence problem.&qu

Sony KP-53S25, Stand By LED flashing, sound, no picture...

Hello Everybody,

My 12 year old projector TV Sony KP-53S25 is giving me headaches once again.

Couple months ago I replaced the convergence IC's and everything was nice, picture bright and clean.

Last friday (9.05.08) I turn it on and got sound, but no picture and the stand by led keeps flashing (haven't noticed if there's a pause (I'll check tonite and feedback).

For I've read in this site looks like I have a problem in the G board?, please confirm.

Mitsubishi VS-60705 Horizontal lines until warmup

Hi, Our VS-60705 is about 9 years old and has been getting horizontal lines until warmup. It has been gradually getting worse. I read another post from a couple of years ago and he had ezact same problem. He said there were two capacitors that seemed to be causing the problem. Well I put a heat gun to each of them and I could get it to fail or get better by adding heat or freezing. There are 2 capacitors right next to each other. The one that I found to be succeptible to heat and cold was C 957.

Tv would not turn on. Removed back panel and notice that resistor(R7016) was burnt. Replace the resistor and it fried again. Replaced both IC's and resistor and the same resistor fried again.

Can anyone help..
