Panasonic PT-47WX49 has distortion when turned on.

My buddy has a Panasonic PT-47WX49 that has a series of lines and distortion on the screen when it is first started up.  It started out as being just for the first couple of minutes, but it is continually getting worse.  It now takes about 15 minutes for the lines to disappear and the picture to look normal.  Searches on Google indicate that there may be some "dry" capacitors.  Does anyone have any information on this?  (which board, which capacitors, etc?)  (Or what else it might be?)  It doesn't look like a "typical convergence problem."  It isn't individual colors being distorted... more like lines through the picture (white ones) and distortion of the picture, like interference.  (I've done a convergence IC replacement on another model of TV, COMPLETELY different symptom... and it goes away after about 15 minutes...)
