Television and Home Theater

I just bought a new RCA dual vhs to dvd machine which works fine for my own tapes from tv. My problem is when copying movie vhs (about 30 of them) which won't copy (pops up with "video is copy protected".
Any way of getting around this? Some of these tapes are 10-12 years old and i'm afraid they may get outdated and break the tapes.

I have a mitsubishi ws-65411, and from time to time the screen would start to shake up and down just, and 1 - 3 black lines would appere accross the screen from left to right, and the tv turns off. And it has been happening about once a week, now it wont even stay on longer than 15 seconds. When I turn it on, if it makes it far enough, I can see the picture and it does the same shaking up and down, then black lines while shaking up and down, then the picture turns off. I get an error code 23 and was wondering if anybody  could give me an educated guess as to whats going on.

All, I have the model KP-46WT500 46" projection TV that, for the second time, has the convergence issue. The first repair held up for just over 3 years and I have now completed the repair again. This time I had a blown 5A pico fuse on the verticle board to the left of the convergence board, I think it's called "G". Replaced the fuse and the convergence chips, worked for about 5 minutes, then the problem returned. Now I have two blown 5A pico fuses they're positioned right next to each other.) on the board. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?
