i just plugged in my tv after not using it for 3 years.  it worked great for a few hours then got color lines, the sound got really loud (i didnt turn it up) then the tv turned off.  when i try to turn the tv on the green light is steady for about 1 minute (no picture no sound) them turns itself off.  i pressed the menu and input and got a 2:3 code.  what can this be.

Sony KDE-37XS955 Intermittently Powers Up

I recently inherited a Sonly KDE-37XS955 plasma in one of those "if you can fix it, you can have it" deals.  As often happens, I've reached that point where I have to decide if putting any (more) money into my "free" TV is worth it.

When powered up, the TV goes through what appears to be a normal cycle:

MITSUBISHI WS-55613 9V REGULATOR REPLACEMENT

I've determined that the 9V regulator (IC9C25) needs to be replaced.  I need instructions on the procedure for replacing the IC.  I've seen posts concerning the replacement, but no instructions.  I have the manual for the TV. but it doesn't go into any kind of detail for the procedure.  If you have the procedure, please email it to me [email protected].

mitsubishi wd52525 DLP TV

I am back here again as my tv has crashed again, blinking green light junk.  I am guessing the DM Board needs to be rebuilt/replaced, the picture was perfect except for some waviness to it......  My question here today is in your honest opinion, granted i dont have the money to go off and buy a brand new tv, should i replace the board with a used one from ebay for $50 or sell the tv as it is.  I have a second mitsu dlp that was for parts, sadly its dm board is bad too, pink wavy lines.  So i have a spare bulb, and light ballast for the current broken tv, i can do the rep

Toshiba 50H81 Blinking red light, bump

Hi, I've read most of the other posts both on this forum and elsewhere, but haven't just gone and got the convergence repair kit yet since I'm not sure that is it.

I checked all the fuses and they are all good. Even F860 (bad cap solder), all the F85X fuses, etc. My cheap multimeter is not good enough to check the adjacent resistors next to the convergence chip.

The TV intermittently started to get the blinking light, but after cooldown it would start up again. Now, its totally dead.
